Fire Alarm/Security Systems Installation & Conversion Project Manager

We are currently looking to add a Fire Alarm/Security Systems Installation & Conversion Project Manager to our new Alarm Monitoring Division. This candidate will be driven by the need to be challenged and contribute to our continued growth.

Position Summary:

The Alarm System Installation & Conversion Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery and timeliness of projects. In this role you will be involved in planning, tracking, and actively managing project execution. The ideal candidate will be skilled in decision making, identifying issues, resolving conflicts, escalating as necessary and leading a project across our entire organization. This will included directing internal as well as external resources to reach project goals.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to determine project scope
  • Prepare project plans and create project estimates
  • Track and report on project progress as well as make adjustments as needed
  • Update clients and internal team with project status reports
  • Manage client relationship in respect to the project
  • Provide expertise in design and key decisions on the project
  • Clearly communicate project objectives and timelines to the client and team

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the security alarm industry with a demonstrated ability to manage several simultaneous projects independently
  • Must be familiar with aspects of the design, installation, maintenance and support of alarm systems
  • Strong reputation for high-quality customer service and client communication
  • Resourceful and capable of identifying resolutions to technical issues
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Team player, focused individual with high attention to detail
  • Previous experience with security or fire alarm products is necessary
  • Low voltage/Electrician highly desired
  • NICET certification a plus

Pay and Benefits:

This is a full time position. Salary is competitive. Medical, Dental and Life Insurance benefits: eligible after the first 60 days of employment.
